I’ve got a few projects going right now, hopefully all will come to conclusion soon.  Here’s a little look at one.

With a few more tweaks, and a final swap, I can kick this project out of my to do list.  This will soon reside @ http://www.haberdashvintage.com.

And also…

Well, it seems as though I don’t update this quite as much as I’d like to.  I’d like to take this time in lull, to transition this blog into more of a design oriented function.  It’s just more of what I’m interested in, and its about 90% of what I spend my time doing and thinking about.  So I’m going to start transitioning this into a work blog, bringing some of my projects into a public forum, for insight on how I work.

Bueller…

In case anyone hadn’t seen it, Cameron Frye’s, from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, home (from the movie) is for sale.  This thing is so cool, I love the architectural styling.  Its such a basic design, but it makes for something that is just so far more interesting than the thousands of colonial styled homes we have here in New England.   For a cool 2.3 Million you can own it, and I’m sure you could haggle them down to 2.2 if you get prequalified for the loan.  I’m pretty sure the GT California is not for sale.  Absolutely love the movie, as well as this cool home.

The Highland Park, Illinois home was designed by architects A. James Speyer and David Haid and built in 1953. It features four bedrooms and a living room that cantilevers over a ravine. (Without a Ferrari destroyed on the bottom)

I got this post from Grain Edit; which also showcased some favorite styled architecture from mid century modernist styling, check out their post.

Crisis of Credit

Grabup Image

Caught this off of Curious Artist, the artwork is absolutely fantastic, artist Jonathan Jarvis, really nailed an excellent theme for the video.  The concept aside, the message in the animation is really interesting, and for someone like myself, helped me work my head around how this crisis happened.

Check the video after the break…

Dear Adobe…
Posted by Kyle in Design, Interweb on 08 27th, 2008| | 1 Comment »

http://www.dearadobe.com/ – This is a fantastic idea, maybe one that could help out with tech problems for software developers.  The basic idea, is it displays a gripe people have had, or do have with an Adobe product, and allow you to agree, disagree, or nonalign yourself.

Why is your software so hideously overpriced?

More stability, less features!

Please allow me to select a typeface in Fireworks by typing the name of that typeface.

Why does “Save for Web” consistently activate the beachball?
