Dear Brody Jenner,
My girlfriend may be a stalker of yours. I don’t know what’s worse, my photoshop job of her in this picture, or the fact that she asked me to do this.
regards.

It’s now official President-Elect Barack Obama has been innaugurated. Found this cool photograph on flickr of some ninja’s changing Bush Street, to Obama Street.
And to commerorate, I bought this tshirt from teefury…

It was also really cool to see the Obamafied new version of whitehouse.gov. Really nice. I’m really looking forward to seeing what this guy can do for us, I’m especially excited to have a new regime, hopefully one that brings a more respectable 4 years. Good Luck, and I can’t wait to see what happens.
Caught this on a board, i just thought it was hilarious. The principal is totally getting outwitted by a bunch of moron teens.

It was 17º outside today, which might be kind of warm for some, but with the windchill it’s about 3º outside, I work outside most days, and it’s quite nippy. So I’m home trying to listen to the new Killers album Day & Age.

Honestly, first listen, I didn’t like it, so I’m trying to at least give it a few go arounds just in case. This album feels all over the place, I’m not sure what they were attempting here. In agreeing with pitchfork’s review of the album, which is unusual for me, they called this album the “spitball” album, the album where they tried a bunch of different things, to see what would stick.
Although it was not critically acclaimed, I enjoyed Sam’s Town a lot more than this. Day & Age’s single, Human, asks the question, are we human, or are we dancers? It really just begs the question of what they were thinking at all. The whole album feels like they had no inner concept, no central point and thought at all. The album is an example of the KISS method, please, keep it simple.
Hopefully, they got some good ideas and can find the magic they had with Hot Fuss. Simple, rock & roll.
Well, it’s 2009, ‘08 is finally over, I spent the entire new years pushing snow. Amy was good enough to record dick clark for me. Now for 2009 I’m actually working on a new weblayout for punkystyle.com
I’ve yet to set any personal goals for the year, but I’d like to quadruple my output for design projects this year. I’m really inspired by DONE, a daily design workout, its inspiring to see someone who set out the goal of working on a small project every day for a year, and actually outputting 366 of them. I’ll stick with that until I think of something else for a goal for 2009.
Happy New Year, more posts to follow.
