It seems awfully hypocritical of me to be writing this but, cnn.com has reported that vanity is on the rise among college students, although I do not fit into that category of college student, it’s awfully funny that that the study reports part of the reason is that parents tell their kids they are ’special’, which has concurrently been the downfall of our society as we see it.

The study asserts that narcissists “are more likely to have romantic relationships that are short-lived, at risk for infidelity, lack emotional warmth, and to exhibit game-playing, dishonesty, and over-controlling and violent behaviors.”

How do we fix this problem?

Here’s the newest from Sen. Ted Stevens, the man who described the Internet as a series of tubes: It’s time for the federal government to ban access to Wikipedia, MySpace, and social networking sites from schools and libraries.

Wouldn’t it be somewhat counterproductive for our federal government to set a blockade of Wikipedia from libraries and schools… I mean I’ve been out of the school system for a short while, but I thought the idea was to teach people not to hinder the process of learning.

Wikipedia may just be the most widely used reference on the planet… lets take it away from school children and anyone that needs PUBLIC access to information.

This Ted Stevens character is quoted in the article as a “buffoon” and that about puts it right. Please Ted, lets allow children free acces to information… in the end, it might just work out well, who knows they just might be running the country some day.

So for years I’ve heard people butcher the words to this song, and admittedly I’ve done it to…so without further ado, the Three’s Company theme song lyrics:
